Ensures that the correct product mix is being offered, seeks student and staff feedback, track industry trends and benchmarks within the local area and markets. Attends Retail Operations committee meetings. Responsible for the Micros computer menu management and product pricing. Runs daily and montly product reports to track sales and compare to purchases Develops marketing and special promotions for both stores. Works with the GM and webmaster in devoloping advertising for stores. Ensures that both stores are well merchandized and decorated. Supervises food prep and production. Maintains accurate production sheets and temperature logs. Ensures that all products are wholesome and all product produced on premises are produced following our food safety and sanitation guidelines. Routinely inspects operations for board of health violations and regulations. Enforces safety and sanitation policies and procedures including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments. Monitors and ensures that all equipment and records are maintained in the unit. Monitors preventative maintenance contracts on equipment and pest elimination. Diagnoses mechanical problems on suspension, brake system, electrical system, and hydraulic system. Diagnoses and repairs tires according to Tire Maintenance Standards. Performs repairs and maintenance on alternative fuel, diesel and/or gasoline trucks including front-end loader, roll off, and other vehicles to maximize safe and productive operations. Typical repairs include, but are not limited to, hydraulic systems, brake systems, electrical systems, suspension systems, wheels, and tires. Examines protective guards and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments. Reads and interprets VCRs (vehicle condition reports) and/or repair orders, communicates with supervisor and/or driver for clarification of problems and discusses preventive techniques with drivers to minimize future repairs. Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for applied times (work order times versus time card times). Makes emergency road calls to repair trucks. Estimates time and materials required for repairs. Interprets and makes repairs using Service Manuals.
